Agni has over 15 years of research experience in cell biology and cancer metabolism in both academia and industry. After a Master’s degree in Immunology and Inflammation from UPENN of USA, Agni earned her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Cancer from Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. She has substantial experience in assay development both as a diagnostic tool and for drug validation. She is the co-inventor in a patented in-vitro LC-MS assay for the detection of acetylation changes after drug treatment in cancer cells. Prior to joining Elypta’s R&D team, Agni has worked as a research scientist at Medivir, Bioarctic and Scantox in Sweden, at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Forma Therapeutics in USA and at Biomedical Research Foundation, Academy of Athens in Greece.
